Helen Ruth Felrice, 78 passed away peacefully in the presence of her family on February 13, 2024.  Helen was a loving wife to Joel Felrice, her husband of 58 years, devoted mother of Scott (Tricia), Andrew (Ali), and Matthew (Erin) Felrice.  Cherished grandmother of Julia, Ryan, Leo, Will, Dylan, and Ben Felrice.  Funeral services are to be held on Thursday, February 15 at 1:00 pm at The Chapel at the Garden of Remembrance Memorial Park (14321 Comus Road Clarksburg, Maryland, or via livestream at https://venue.streamspot.com/b57031dd ).  The family will be observing Shiva on Thursday, February 15 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the residence of Matthew and Erin Felrice.

Helen was born in Brooklyn, NY, and relocated to Gaithersburg, MD where she raised her family and lived for 40 years.  She worked at the National Institute of Standards and Technology for 30 years where she was honored for her service and was also a founding member of Gaithersburg Hebrew Congregation (Kehilat Shalom).  In 2014 Helen and Joel moved to Boynton Beach Florida where they enjoyed their retirement in the Valencia Cove community.  Helen enjoyed playing Canasta, Mah Jongg, casino visits, and cruising with her many friends.
