On Monday, November 4, 2024, Helen Jean Rubin Wertlieb of Bethesda, MD passed away. Beloved wife of the late Norman Wertlieb; devoted mother of Zelda Wertlieb Rice, Donald (Lorre Polinger) and Stan (Nicole Ashton) Wertlieb; loving sister of Norma Harrison, Ronald (Susan) Rubin and the late Doris Rubin Cohen; cherished grandmother of Joshua (Rebecca Light) Wertlieb, Mollie (Evan) Barnathan, and Miriam (Ernest) Nsimbi and great-grandmother of Ari, Eli, Lila, Rose, Pearl, Mae, and Giveon.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, 12:30 p.m. at B'nai Israel Congregation, 6301 Montrose Road, Rockville, MD with interment to follow at Judean Memorial Gardens, Olney, MD. The family will be receiving guests immediately after the service on Wednesday and Thursday at 10 a.m. at the home of Alan and Michelle (Friedson) Feld. Minyan will begin each evening at 7:30 p.m.
