Of Silver Spring, MD on Sunday, February 10, 2019. Beloved husband of the late Judith, to whom he was married for 69 years; devoted father of Stuart (Wendy), Regina, and Sima; loving brother of Charles Breiterman; adored grandfather of Michael, Adam (Keren), and Steven; cherished great-grandfather of Ariana, Caleb, Talia, and Ethan. Also survived by Denise Vignoe, very special to the family, and cousins, nieces, and nephews. Ira was a member of the Jewish War Veterans and he received a purple heart for his service during WWII. A chapel service will be held Wednesday, February 13, 2019, 10:00 AM at Judean Memorial Gardens, 16225 Batchellors Forest Road, Olney, MD 20832, with interment to follow.
