Isaac N. Groner, 96, of Kensington, MD. on July 14, 2016. Beloved husband of Estelle Groner for 75 years. Devoted father of Robert Groner and Phyllis Gross (Steve); cherished grandfather to Donnie (Jill) and Lori Gross, Elana and Rebecca Kanter, and Gabrielle Groner; and great grandfather to Emily and Jordan Gross. He was predeceased by his daughter Lois Groner. Isaac was a distinguished career attorney. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a BA from Cornell University. He received his MA in economics from NYU, and earned his LLB from Yale Law School (Cum Laude). He had the honor of serving as a law clerk to Chief Justice Vinson. He opened the law firm of Cole & Groner and argued 5 cases before the Supreme Court. Services will be held at Judean Memorial Chapel on Monday, July 18, 2016 at 11:00am, with interment to follow. Rabbi Jonathan Roos will officiate. Shiva will be held at the home of Estelle Groner on Monday and Tuesday with services at 7:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
