JILL (nee Hurowitz) FAIRCHILD. Age 56, passed away on February 4, 2024 after a courageous 5 year battle with cancer.

Jill is survived by her husband Aaron of 27 years; loving son Cole; father Norman Hurowitz; siblings Marc (James) Hurowitz, Bruce ( Jodi) Hurowitz; nieces, nephews and cousins; her Aunt Phyllis (nee Buck) Bergman and Cousin Bonnie (nee Bergman) Keiles. Jill was preceded in death by her beloved Mother Judy (nee Buck) Hurowitz and loving grandparents. Raised in Huntingdon Valley, PA., Jill was a graduate of Lower Moreland High School and studied at Adelphia University.

Jill's zest for life and free spirit found her touring much of the country and taking up residence at a young age in San Francisco. It was there that she met the love of her life, Aaron, eventually moving back east to Maryland, where together they built a life full of joy, laughter, and family. In fact, Jill's primary challenge to everyone she knew was to 'find joy in everything you do'. Jill had many talents, but above all she was an incredible mother to Cole and by extension to many of his friends and classmates, who knew her as Miss Jill. She was a devoted Rockville neighbor, very active in the local community and unofficial team photographer for the Rockville Football Team. Jill had a love for the outdoors, camping, hiking, and kayaking and had an amazing talent as a crafter in sewing and painting. Jill was able to accomplish all of this and still have a very successful career; having recently retired as the Vice President of Operations for a regional storage company.

Jill was passionate about fighting her battle with cancer and was helped in many ways through a connection with all of her friends and family. Those who followed her on social media were all blessed to know her.

The family is planning a Celebration of Life in the spring.
