It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Jonathan B. Russell on Saturday, August 30th, 2025. He was 43 years old. He is survived by his devoted mother Lori; his loyal and protective sister Carlyn (Jeff); niece Lily; nephews Noah, Grayson and Luka; his Uncle Bruce (Jeanne), Uncle Tommy (Joyce) and Uncle Joe; six cousins, relatives and many friends and coworkers. He was predeceased by his father Richard.

Jonathan was an avid environmentalist and animal lover. He took pride in his job as a Senior Mechanical Assembler. He will forever be remembered for his kindness, playful humor and his genuineness.

A celebration of life service will be held at the Garden of Remembrance Chapel, Comus Rd, Clarksburg, MD on Tuesday, September 30th at 1 p.m.  Reception to follow at the Comus Restaurant and Beer Garden, Dickerson, MD. For those who cannot make it, the service will be viewable via live stream at gardenofremembrance.org.
