Joseph Heiney, 87, of Potomac Maryland died on August 24th at Sibley Hospital.  Survived by his wife Ilene Heiney and his three daughters, Jennifer, Michelle and Karen, granddaughter Kayle and his sister, Shirley Scribner.

Joe was born and raised in Washington DC, graduated from Coolidge High School and graduated The Ohio State University and then served in the military.  He went on to open multiple gift shops in the DMV.

The service will be held at Judean Memorial Gardens Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at 12pm.  Shiva at the family home will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights at 6pm.
