Joshua Evan Bluestein passed away peacefully in the arms of his mother on Aug. 6, 2014, Johns Hopkins Children's Center, Baltimore, of complications after a 3½ year battle with leukemia. Beloved son of Leigh Ann and Andrew Bluestein. Survived by his sister, Sarah, and grandfather, H. Jack Bluestein, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Proceeded in death by paternal grandmother, Miriam J. Bluestein, and maternal grandparents, Maureen F. Curlee and Mason C. Fink. Joshua bravely fought his disease through 2 bone marrow transplants and numerous clinical trials. He died cancer-free, but his body was too weakened to fight off the continued barrage of complications. Joshua's beautiful presence and amazing perseverance charmed and amazed all who came to know and love him. He will be missed every second of every day. A celebration of Joshua's life will be Fri.
