Judith "Betty" Steinmetz of Bethesda, MD passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at the age of 98. She loved life and took great joy in the children, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Devoted mother of Gail Broder (Samuel), the late Cheryl Kent (Michael), and David Steinmetz (Karen Leavitt). Loving grandmother of Karen Broder (Eric Reinhardt), Joanna Broder (Jason Sobel) and Alexandra Kent (Lisa McReynolds). Adoring great-grandmother of Conner and Alec Reinhardt, Henry and Julia Sobel and Ryan Kent-McReynolds. Dear sister of Ann Rothenberg (the late Louis), the late Ethel Weissman (the late Philip) and the late Eliot Daskal (Claire). Also survived by numerous adoring nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. A private graveside service was held on Sunday, September 19, 2021, at Garden of Remembrance Memorial Park in Clarksburg, MD. A memorial service will take place at a later time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
