The Honorable Julian (Jerry) I. Jacobs, of Garrett Park, Maryland, passed away on Saturday, April 5th, 2025, at the age of 87. He is survived by his wife, Donna Jacobs, his stepdaughter Lisa (Todd) Mohink, and their children, Max and Alexa Mohink, his stepdaughter Sara (Jacquie Smyth) Solomon, and their children, Nessa and Nicholas Solomon Smyth; his brother and sister-in-law, Joseph (Lucinda) Jacobs; and his children, Richard Jacobs and Jennifer Jacobs.

Jerry was a man of wisdom, warmth, and unwavering integrity. A respected Federal judge and a loyal friend, he carried his many roles in life—husband, father, stepfather, and grandfather—with grace and humility. He will be remembered for his sharp mind, compassionate care for others, and deep commitment to justice and family.

Graveside service will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2025, 2pm, at Garden of Remembrance Memorial Park,14321 Comus Road, Clarksburg, MD 20871. Please omit flowers. Contributions in his memory may be sent to Montgomery Hospice.
