On Wednesday, August 2, 2023, June C. Abel of Silver Spring, MD passed away peacefully. Beloved wife of the late David Abel; devoted mother of Martin Abel (Linda), and Marilyn Abel; adored grandmother of Shannon (Paul) Rosenberg and Jarred Abel; loving great-grandmother of four; cherished sister of the late Ruth Brodsky. Graveside service will be held on Friday, August 4, 2023, 12 noon at Judean Memorial Gardens, 16225 Batchellors Forest Rd., Olney, MD. The family will receive friends following the service on Friday at the home of Martin and Linda Abel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to epilepsysurgeryalliance.org , the "Dreams for Danny" foundation or a charity of your choice.
