Kathy Kamen (Keene), 56 On Saturday, December 26, 2015, Kathy died after a courageous four-year battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Robert Keene, devoted and loving mother of Jason Keene and Hunter Keene. Kathy is survived by her sisters Michelle Kamen and Jody Harkavy, father, Phillip Kaplowitz and their loving families. No one earned and deserved to live a full life more than Kathy. No two children ever had a better mother than Kathy. Kathy was born and raised in New York City, graduated in 1980 from The University of Maryland with a B.S. in Marketing and earned an M.B.A. from The George Washington University. She had worked for the United States Postal Service since 2003. Friends may pay their respects to the family on Wednesday, December 30 at the Shapiro residence from 6-10pm. Interment in New York.
