Obituary

Larry Herman, of Bethesda, passed away on May 5, 2020 at the age 62, after a brief, critical illness. Larry grew up in Chevy Chase, and spent his life nearby, surrounded by a large loving family. For many years, he took special pride in his knowledge about cars. He always enjoyed listening to a wide variety of music and took every opportunity to give special people in his life, gifts of music from his favorite artists. All who knew Larry, knew that he had a keen sense of humor. He was deeply kind and thoughtful, ready to remember birthdays and special celebrations for those around him. He is survived by his beloved, longtime partner, Naomi Ronis, as well as siblings, Sandra Perkins (Jeffrey), Robert Herman (Ann) and Mitchell Herman (Patti). He will also be remembered most fondly by a treasured circle of 14 nieces and nephews as well as 9 great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held privately at King David Memorial Gardens, on Friday, May 8th. A Shiva minyan by zoom and Kol Shalom Congregation, will take place on Monday evening, May 11th. Contributions may be made to your charity of choice. Larry was a sweet and gentle man, who will continue to be loved and missed dearly. Services entrusted to Sagel Bloomfield Funeral Care.
