Loving sister of Rebeca Wedemeyer of Rockville, MD, and of Roy Capps of Brooklyn, NY; Cherished mother of Grace Cappwell of Rockville, MD.

Laurie was a devoted mother to her daughter and sister to her siblings.  Laurie was a gifted teacher, poet, singer-songwriter and graphic artist.  She always showed a unique sense of humor.  She played guitar and sang.  She was a faithful friend to her friends and a loving member of her family.

Remembrance services will be held in the Spring.
