Lilyan Z. Godaof Washington, DC. passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2010. She is survived by her beloved husband of 68 years to Herbert L. Goda; her sister, Thelma Lenkin; her brother, Gilbert Zellan; her children, Saralee Hillman, Esther Goda, and Norman Goda (Gwyneth); seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She worked for the Federal Aviation Administration and Long and Foster Real Estate. She was a volunteer with the Girl Scouts of America and was a docent at the Smithsonian American Art Museum since 1969. She was the museum's last Docent Emeritus. Graveside funeral service will be held at Judean Memorial Gardens, 16225 Batchellors Forest Road, Olney, Maryland, 11 a.m., on Friday, October 22, 2010. Memorial contributions in Lilyan Z.
