Marilyn Berdansky, loving wife of Gerald Berdansky (deceased) and mother of four children and two step-children, passed away from natural causes on September 25. In her lifetime, Marilyn was a lover of animals and an avid supporter of animal rights. Born on April 14, 1926 in New York, she moved with her family to the Washington DC area where she made her home for the remainder of her life. With her husband, Gerry, she resided in Chevy Chase with a summer home in Lake of the Woods Virginia. Her residence at the end of life was in Silver Spring, MD. She is survived by three of her four children, Gayle Carey, Marcia Berdansky, and David (Rachel) Berdansky and two step-children, Steven Rubin and Rosalyn Rubin. Her beloved son, Bruce Carey, passed away in 2005. Funeral services will be held at noon on Tuesday, September 29 at Sagel Bloomfield Danzansky-Goldberg Funeral Care, MD with interment at King David Memorial Gardens in Falls Church, VA following the service.
