The wonderful Marlene Blotner Schwartz of North Bethesda, MD, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2021, at the age of 85. She was originally from the Massachusetts area and moved to Maryland in the mid-seventies. Beloved wife of the late Martin Schwartz; devoted mother of Toby Schwartz (Gary Batz), Debbie (Kevin) Malpass and the late Julie (Leonidas) Platanias; loving grandmother of Martina, Cokey, Austin and Jared; cherished great-grandmother of Oakley. Marlene also went on to marry the late Dr. Arthur Rollins. She is also survived by many friends and family. A graveside service will be held Monday, Nov. 29, 2021, 10 AM at Judean Memorial Gardens in Olney, MD. The family will be receiving guests immediately after the service at Toby's home, with the Shiva dates to be announced. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
