Martin A. Coleman, of Bethesda, MD, passed away from acute leukemia on November 30, 2023, at age 93. Marty, the son of Jewish immigrants from Lida, Poland, served in the U.S. Army and went to NYU Law School on the G.I. bill. He retired as a New York corporate attorney in 1990 and began his second career as a much-beloved grandfather six years later. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Ruth S. Coleman; his children Gail S. Coleman (Mark J. Yost) and Carl H. Coleman (Vincent Thonier); and his grandchildren Kevin Y. Coleman, Benjamin Y. Coleman, Nathan Y. Coleman, and Matthew Y. Coleman. His daughter Kim Naomi Coleman predeceased him in 1962. The funeral will be a private ceremony. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
