Martin Joseph Forman 'Marty', born in the Bronx, New York to Yetta and Max Forman passed away peacefully on March 1, 2025.  He was the beloved and loving husband of Shelly Forman; devoted and outstanding father to Cheryl Sheer (Jason) and Aliza Forman (Riley Bordelon); proud G-pa to Carly and Devin Sheer.  Marty was the 'baby of the family' with 6 older siblings: Jerome Forman, Lee (Sheila) Forman, Max (Rose) Forman, Etta (William) Gabeloff, Betty (Lewis) Schrieber (all of blessed memory), survived by older sister Rose (Bob, of blessed memory) Greenwald; cherished brother-in-law to Sheila (of blessed memory) and Sorrel Resnik; son-in-law to Carl and Minnie Solwan (of blessed memory). Marty was also an uncle to many nieces and nephews and a friend to all.  He loved watching and cheering on the University of Miami Hurricanes football team and being present at many of their games including the 2000 National Championship at the Rose Bowl!   Professionally, he was a well-respected CPA working at several firms prior to retirement in Miami, Florida where he later enjoyed volunteering at Baptist Hospital.  Marty was a sweet, kind and caring man who loved to tell a joke or two!  He will be loved always and missed forever.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 3, 2025, 2pm, at Garden of Remembrance Memorial Park in Clarksburg, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
