Obituary

Martin L. Kamerow Of Bethesda, MD, passed away on Friday, August 31, 2018. He is survived by his beloved childhood sweetheart and wife of 67 years, Corinne Kamerow; devoted father of Deborah (Keith) Cohen Goodman; Jackie (Efi) Ben-Efraim; Haskel Kamerow; loving grandfather of Nadav (Annie) Cohen; Tayla Cohen Gulman; Maital (David) Savin; Liat (Avraham) Mahler, Asaf Ben-Efraim; great-grandfather of 10; brother of Norman (Helen) Kamerow. Survived by a large, loving family who will miss his amusing anecdotes. Martin was an active and prominent CPA of the Greater Washington Area and was in the forefront of many charitable causes both within the Jewish community locally and nationally as well as many secular organizations. He was a past President of Suburban Hospital Foundation and was instrumental in bringing Suburban Hospital under the umbrella of The Johns Hopkins Hospital. He was proud of his army service during the Korean conflict. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. at B'nai Israel Congregation, 6301 Montrose Road, Rockville, MD 20852, with interment to follow at King David Memorial Gardens, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22042. Family will be observing Shiva at the family home with evening Minyan at 7:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday.
