On Sunday, November 24, 2024, Martin "Bo" Kirsch passed away at his home in Kensington, MD. Beloved and devoted husband of 71 years of Marlene "Marky" (nee Lebowitz); proud and loving father of Stephen (Laurie), Mark (Lisa), and Neal (Karen); and adoring grandfather of Aaron (Jessica), Adam (Arianne), Jessica (Alex), Dani, and Jillian. Papa Bo was tickled pink as a great-grandfather to Sadie, Leo, Noa, and Harper. Bo was born March 2, 1926, in Brooklyn, NY, and moved to Washington, DC in 1932. He was a caring and devoted son to Ralph and Helen Kirsch, and brother to Arthur Kirsch and Leonore Leonard (all of whom predeceased him). He graduated from Central High School in DC and received his undergraduate and law degrees from George Washington University. Bo proudly served in the Navy in World War II. He had a long and successful legal career in the Washington, DC area, where he was greatly respected and admired by clients, colleagues, and others in the legal and real estate professions. Martin/Bo/Dad/Papa Bo/Uncle Bo was loved and cherished by friends, family, and colleagues, and he will be dearly missed.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, 11am, at Adas Israel Congregation, 2850 Quebec St., NW, Washington, DC 20008 with interment to follow at Adas Israel Cemetery, 1400 Alabama Ave SE, Washington, DC 20032.  Shiva will be held at the late residence. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
