Martin B. Zimmerman, resident of Potomac, MD and Palm Beach Gardens, FL passed away on July 23,2017. Marty, born in Queens, NY was a graduate of The Bronx High School of Science, United States Military Academy at West Point, and Stanford Graduate School. Beloved husband of Doris Zimmerman; devoted father of Janet (Andy) Pace and Glenn (Taryn) Zimmerman and loving grandfather of Lauren, Lexi, Jacquelin, Michelle, and Danielle. Funeral services will held on Thursday, July 27, 11:30 a.m. at Washington Hebrew Congregation,with burial to follow at Garden of Remembrance, Clarksburg, MD. Family will be observing Shiva at the home of Janet and Andy Pace immediately following services with Minyan at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in honor of Marty Zimmerman to United States Military Academy at West Point, Army Baseball Endowment: USMA West Point, 639 Howard Road, West Point, NY 10996.
