Arluk
September 28, 1938 – December 21, 2024

Marvin was born on September 28, 1938, in Brooklyn, New York to Paul and Fannie Arluk. Marvin earned both a Bachelor's and Master's degrees at the City College of New York in Electrical Engineering and had an over 50-year career as a Satellite Engineer working for multiple international companies.
Marvin enjoyed watching sports, talking politics, and engaging in Jewish culture and the Yiddish language, particularly with his friends at the men's club at the Bender Jewish Community Center in Rockville, MD. Marvin loved all types of movies, often regaling his children and grandchildren with descriptions of obscure movies from the 1940s and 50s. But most of all, Marvin loved spending time with his family, especially his wife, children, and grandchildren, often offering to babysit for the grandchildren that lived locally and seeking their help whenever his iPad or iPhone confounded him.
Marvin is survived by his wife, Roslyn Arluk, his children Pamela Arluk, and Glen Arluk, son-in-law Joseph Craugh, daughter-in-law Shaye Arluk, and grandchildren Brianna Arluk, Madison Arluk, Dylan Arluk, and Matthew Craugh. Marvin also leaves behind his sisters, Phyllis Appelbaum and brother-in-law Allen, Arlene Brodsky and brother-in-law Barry, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
