IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Maya
Anopolsky
October 1, 2002 – May 28, 2024
On the 28th of May, 2024, Maya Rae Anopolsky of Bethesda, MD, beloved daughter of Jennifer and Sanford Anopolsky; loving sister of Robert and Max Anopolsky: cherished granddaughter of Minda Shein and also Martin Anopolsky, passed away. She is also survived by dear aunts and uncles Abby and Lee Alford, Katie and Drew Behr, Beth and James Greenberg, and Ali and Dan Quill; and cousins Madeleine and Jackie Alford, Andrew and Harper Behr, Emily and Jonathan Greenberg, Sam and Jacob Quill.
She was a ray of sunshine who brightened the lives of family and friends from coast to coast, especially in Los Angeles where she was born, Bethesda where she lived, and at the Holton-Arms School and Washington University in St Louis, where she was a student.
Maya deeply appreciated the seemingly simple, but important and beautiful things in life. She loved travel, music, art, poetry and animals. Her love for plants and flowers will live on forever in the garden she tended with her mother. Her exuberance for life's adventure made an impact on everyone who met her. She will be dearly missed and cherished in memories and stories by everyone.
Funeral services will be held on May 31, 2024, at 10:30 am at Congregation Beth El.
