Dr. Merrill J. Cohen of Potomac, Maryland passed away on May 19, 2023. Merrill was a beloved husband to Sandra Marks Cohen, father to Marla (Alan) Levenstein and Bradley (Heather) Cohen, grandfather to Brett Levenstein, Carter Levenstein and Jack Cohen. Merrill earned a BS from the University of Pennsylvania and a medical degree from Jefferson Medical College, now Thomas Jefferson University. A renowned urologist, Merrill was in private practice for thirty years, and spent nearly 10 years working part-time at the VA National Medical Center. Graveside funeral services will be held at the Garden of Remembrance on Monday, May 22 at 2 pm.
