On Tuesday, July 5, 2016, Myer Norken of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Rita H. Norken; loving father of David Norken (Wendy Margolis), Sharon (the late Lowell) Fried, Harold (Reva) Norken and Pam (Andy) Lloyd; cherished grandfather of Joel (Mina) Fried, Adam Fried, Daniel Norken, Ryan Lloyd, Jennifer Lloyd, Alex Noreen, the late Seth Norken; great-grandfather of Mason, Gianna and Max Fried. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 12:00pm at Mt Lebanon Cemetery, Adelphi, MD. Shiva will be observed at the Norken residence in Leisure World following the burial on Thursday with Minyan beginning at 7:30pm. The family will receive visitors on Friday, July 8th from 1-4:00pm and Sunday, July 10th from 11:00am-2:00pm. Donations may be made in his name to Hadassah.
