On Tuesday, May 9, 2017 of Washington, DC. Devoted father of Brian (Carrie) Coonin, David (Lauren) Coonin and Adam (Vina) Coonin. He is also survived by loving grandchildren, Sam, Jake, Max, Ariel, Allie, Alex and Tyler; former wife, Wendy Coonin; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was brother of the late Diane Chado. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 11 at 10 a.m., at Temple Sinai, 3100 Military Road, NW Washington, DC 20015, with interment to follow at Garden of Remembrance, Clarksburg, MD. Family will be observing Shiva through Saturday evening, with Minyan on Thursday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m., at the residence of Brian and Carrie Coonin. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Hebrew Home of Greater Washington.
