NORMA GERTRUDE FLEISHMAN (nee Gensberg) Norma G. Fleishman, 95, of Bethesda, MD, born and raised in Washington, DC, passed peacefully Tuesday, November 24, 2015. She was predeceased by her parents, Celia and Irwin M. Gensberg and her brother, Kenneth; her loving husband, Jacob J. Fleishman and brother-in-law, Irving Fleishman (surviving wife, Linda). Norma adored her devoted daughters Carole Jean (Brian) Avin, Sharlene (Al) Klotz, JoAnn Green and Debra Avison; her loving grandchildren, Kenneth M. Silber, Brenda M. (Kim) Bell, Randi L. (Martin) Weinstein, Melissa (Tim) Frasier and Jessica B. Avison; and her precious great-grandchildren, Aliyah Rachel and Jack Benjamin Silber and Lauren Ilyse Weinstein; her cousins, Neal (Ella) Krucoff, Larry (Carole) Krucoff, Raymond (MaryAnn) Lazer, Sylvia Sanderoff, Louise Gold; many nieces, nephews and dear long-time friends. The Fleishman Girls are very grateful to Ed Moore, Saul Schwartzbach and Nancy Taffo and her companion and aide, AK, for giving mom so much strength and support many years of her life. Funeral service will be held Sunday, November 29, 11 a.m. at Judean Memorial Gardens Chapel, 16225 Batchellors Forest Rd., Olney, MD 20832, followed by a brunch.
