Phyllis Faye (Galka) Prussick passed away bravely on September 11th, 2023 after a two year battle with lung cancer at age 88.

Beloved mother & mother-in-law of Ronald Prussick (Marcy Morein) & Aviva Prussick (Rick Riley). Cherished sister of Arlene Kaufman (Paul of blessed memory) and Paul Galka. Treasured Nana of Lisa & Stephanie Prussick and Jessica and Dillon Nussbaum and the grand-dogs. Adored Aunt & Great Aunt to Nancy & Steve Corrigan, Jason Kaufman, Pamela, Joseph Sr., Joseph Jr., Nicholas & Andrew Isola, Max, Mireia & Leo Galka, Jackson & Maxine Galka, Graham, Idamisse, Sophia & Lucca Galka.  Phyllis was a devoted employee of Concordia University and Washington Dermatology Center, working to age 85, right up until the pandemic. She will be sorely missed by friends and family in Potomac, New York, Montreal and beyond. She was happiest when taking care of everyone around her.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, September 13th at 1:00 pm at Congregation B'nai Tzedek, 10621 S. Glen Road, Potomac, MD with. Mourners will receive visitors at the Prussick home following internment at Garden of Remembrance, Clarksburg, MD for a luncheon.
