Phyllis Weisbaum (Kleinman) passed peacefully at her home on 9/5/2026.

She is survived by her 4 sons; Harold (Sharon), Craig (Jane), David and Steven (Gayle), by her 10 grandchildren; Jessica (Jared Crain), Emily (Mark Shank), Sam (Stacey Gutridge), Jonathan (Nora Goldfield), Gary (Morgan), Dan (Olga), Ethan, Emma, Jacob and Dylan. She is survived by 8 great grandchildren and a 9th on the way. Phyllis was the beloved matriarch of this large family and spent her life caring for every one of them. She was a stay at home mom how raised 4 sons plus her beloved husband of 69 years, going back to get a college degree in her 40’s working in special education and later in computer training for NIH until she retired.

She often said she lived a blessed life with the love of her life, Bertram, who predeceased her last year. She felt she had done everything she wanted and she was ready to go. She was deeply loved and will be missed by her entire family.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 7, 2026, 2pm, at Judean Memorial Gardens in Olney, MD. Shiva will be held at 3:30pm at the home of Steven and Gayle Weisbaum. In lieu of flowers, may be made to a charity of your choice in Phyllis' name Services entrusted to Sagel Bloomfield Danzansky Goldberg Funeral Care.
