Rachel Savits Rabinovitz, age 24, died peacefully on December 11, 2021 surrounded by her family.  Rachel was the cherished daughter of Katherine Savits and Jeremy Rabinovitz and loving sister of Eliana Rabinovitz.  She is also survived by her beloved boyfriend Cole Magat.  Rachel was the loving granddaughter of Jacqueline Savits and the late Joel Savits and Connie Rabinovitz and the late Martin Rabinovitz.  She is survived by her aunts and uncles Robin and Edward Cooper, Susan and Ron Winson, Sam Ross, and Joseph Rabinovitz and her cousins Hannah, Samantha, Matthew, Jessica, David, Rachel, Jamie, and Dani.  She was a kind and loyal friend to many.

Rachel graduated in 2019 from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in Psychology and received her Masters of Social Work in 2021 from New York University

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, 11 a.m. at Washington Hebrew Congregation, 3935 Macomb St NW, Washington, DC 20016 with interment to follow at Garden of Remembrance, Clarksburg, MD. Family will be observing Shiva on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at Julia P. Bindeman Suburban Center, 11810 Falls Rd, Potomac, MD 20854.
