Passed away suddenly on Friday, August 28, 2015 at the age of 73. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years Neil N. Chaikin. Her memory is cherished by daughter and son-in-law, Jodi and Danny Sabo; daughter, Carrie Chaikin; much adored grandsons, Stephen and Julian Sabo; twin sister Linda Cohn (Ira) and brother Irving Siegel (Sandra) and her adored nieces and nephews and their families. Renee was loved and will be missed by all the generations of her family and friends. Renee will be remembered for her wonderful laugh, her caring spirit, her nightly phone calls to family and friends and her love for her grandsons that held a special place in her heart. Graveside services will be held Monday, August 31 at 11 a.m. at Judean Memorial Gardens, Olney, MD. The family will receive guests at her late residence where Shiva will also be observed through Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Juvenile Diabetes or the Montgomery County Volunteer Fire and Rescue Association
