Rita Smith Sterling passed away on June 12, 2021, at the age of 95. She was born and raised in Washington, DC. Devoted mother of Gail (William) Isaac and Ray (Beth) Sterling; loving grandmother of Billy (Sue), Tony (Tina), Rebecca (Dan), David (Michal), Lisa (Jerry), Rubin (Greg), and cherished great-grandmother of 19 great-grandchildren. Services were held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sibley Hospital. Services entrusted to Sagel Bloomfield Danzansky Goldberg Funeral Care.
