On Friday, January 11, 2019, Robert Meister of Rockville, MD and formerly of Silver Spring, MD, and Brooklyn, NY. Beloved husband of Bertha Meister; devoted father of Marian Tiemann, Mark Meister (Carla), David Meister (Lotte); loving grandmother of Casey Tiemann, Hannah Hourie, Madeleine Meister, Holly Meister, Leo Meister, Elliot Meister, and Sophia Meister; Cherished great-grandfather of Emmanuel, Milo, and Nadia Tiemann. A great mentor and colleague of the faculty and campus community of The Catholic University of America at which he studied and served for six decades, and a great and always approachable friend to all that came to know him during his nearly 94 years.
