It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Rose Feld on February 14, 2024. She was 91. She passed away on Valentine's Day, a day commemorating love.
Rose (Raizel) was born in Katowice, Poland on August 15, 1932, to Chaya and Moishe Weitz. Rose survived the Holocaust before coming to the United States in December of 1948.
She loved reading and classical music and was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. We will miss her so very much.
Rose is survived by her daughters: Pamela Feld-Randel (husband: Harry) and Michelle Milton (husband: Jeffrey); her grandchildren Amanda Randel Marbury (Husband: Stephen), Daniel Milton (Wife: Katarzyna), Jessica Randel Janicola (Husband: Shane), Alec Milton, Jonathan Milton (Wife:Carrie), Todd Milton (Wife: Maureen); her great grandchildren Avi Marbury, Henry Milton and Jonah Milton. She was predeceased by her brother Tobias Weitz.
The graveside service will be held at 12:00 P.M. Friday, February 16th at Judean Memorial Gardens in Olney Maryland. Lunch will follow at the Milton residence in Maryland.
Contributions in her memory may be made to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C.
