Serena Toro passed away on July 26 after a courageous four year battle with cancer.  She is survived by her two sons, William Van Horn and Max Sartoph, her daughter-in-law Debra Van Horn and her three grandchildren, Danielle, Madeline and Zachary Van Horn.  She is also survived by her sister, Lenny Seliger (Richard Alperstein). Serena was employed by the Federal Government in various agencies for almost 40 years.  After her retirement, she found a second career as an administrative assistant for Avery-Hess Realtors. Contributions in her memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
