On Friday, August 29, 2025, Seymour Efros of Washington, D.C. passed away. Beloved husband of the late Rollee Efros; devoted stepfather of Steven R. Lowenstein (Elaine), Beth Lowenstein (Jeff), Linda K. Lowenstein (Al), the late Susan L. Barry, and the late Carol A. Lowenstein; dear grandfather of Karen, Ryan, Tessa, Adam, Toby, Tom, and Chris; loving great-grandfather of 9 and uncle to 1 niece and 1 nephew. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 2, at 10:30 a.m. at Temple Sinai, 3100 Military Rd., N.W., Washington, D.C. 20015. Instead of black, colorful attire is encouraged. Interment to follow at King David Memorial Garden, Falls Church, VA. Reception will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
