On January 27, 2015, in Washington DC. Born in Olyphant, PA, Sheldon was a dentist in private practice for 40 years in Washington, DC. Shelly graduated from Georgetown University's dental school where he also taught for many years. Married for 63 years, he leaves his beloved wife Elenore, sons John and Philip Baldinger, and daughters Susan Hay and Pamela Baldinger. Sheldon is also survived by six grandchildren, Jessica Hay Greenberg, Annie Hay, Andrew and Julie Baldinger, and Aaron and Brianna Baldinger. Graveside service will be held Sunday, February 1 at 12 p.m. at the Adas Israel Cemetery, 1400 Alabama Avenue SE followed by a gathering for families and friends at the home of Susan Hay in Bethesda, MD. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Sheldon's name to the MS Society or Face Autism (www.face-autism.org).
