On Wednesday, July 30, 2025, Sidney David Lazar, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Janet L. Lazar for 61 years; devoted father of Eileen (Patrick) Kerwin and the late Charlotte Lazar; loving brother of Morty (Rita) Lazar; loving "Poppy" of Chloe.

He was a resident of Leisure World. He owned DC Cleaners and was a liquor store salesman later in life.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 3, 2025, 11 am at King David Memorial Gardens. Shiva will be from Sunday to Tuesday at his late residence, where Minyan service will be held at 7 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Jewish Residents of Leisure World or American Diabetes Association or charity of your choice.
