Beloved wife of David Hirshfeld; devoted mother of Stephen Hirshfeld and Lesley (Matt) Hausmann; loving grandmother of Camden, Brady, Connor and Daniel; sister of Thelma (Elwood) Sinsky. A funeral service will be held Friday, July 22, 2016, 1 p.m. at Washington Hebrew Congregation, 3935 Macomb St., NW, Washington, DC 20016. Interment at Garden of Rememberance, 14321 Comus Rd., Clarksburg, MD 20871. Family will be observing Shiva Saturday and Sunday at 7 p.m. at her late residence. Memorial contributions may be made to Empty Nesters or U.S. Holocaust Museum.
