Stanley M. Silverberg, 94, passed away April 19 in Rockville, Maryland. He was born December 19, 1925 in Washington, DC. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Harriet.  Stanley is survived by his daughter, Denise Silverberg of Rockville, MD, and his son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren, Marc and Sherene Silverberg, Ben and Sam, of Norfolk, VA.  Stanley was born and raised in Washington, DC.

He served in the Navy in World War II, and went to college on the GI bill to become a doctor. He practiced cardiology and internal medicine in Maryland and DC for approximately 60 years. He spent part of his retirement in Naples, FL and most recently in Asbury Methodist Village, Gaithersburg, MD.  The family suggests memorial donations be directed to Dysautonomia International, P.O.
