SYLVIA MILLER FRIEDMAN Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 4, 2015. She was the beloved wife of the late Melvin Friedman. She was a devoted mother to her children, the late Richard Friedman (Joan), Helene Meltzer (Richard) and Debra Bieber (Edward). She was a cherished grandmother known as "Nana" to her grandchildren, Andrew Friedman (Asali), Kimberly Weisman (Evan), Jason Meltzer (Fara), Justin Bieber, David Bieber and Michelle Bieber. She was also "Nana" to great-grandchildren, Adebayo, Mkale, Natalie, Jocelyn and Dylan. Sylvia enjoyed a long career in real estate in Montgomery County, MD and was later joined by Melvin, and known as a dynamic husband and wife team. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 12:30 p.m. at the Gazebo at Garden of Remembrance, 14321 Comus Rd., Clarksburg, MD. Interment to follow. Family will be observing Shiva Wednesday and Thursday evening at the residence of Helene and Richard Meltzer.
