On Monday, August 16,2021, Walter Simon of Bethesda, MD passed away. Beloved husband of the late Adele Simon; devoted father of the late Michael Simon, Brian Simon, and Sharon Scheiner; loving brother of the late Joel Simon; cherished grandfather of Ryan Simon, Eric Simon, Sam Scheiner, Emily Scheiner, Rhea Simon, Joeseph Scheiner, and Becca Simon; great-grandfather of Michael Simon, Mathew Simon, and Elliott Simon. Also survived by his life partner for the last 7 years, Bonnie Forman.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 19,2021 10 a.m. at Judean Chapel, 16225 Batchellors Forest Road, Olney, MD 20832 with interment to follow. Family will be observing Shiva following the service with Minyan at 7:30 p.m. at the residence of Marylin and Barry Scheiner. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children ( shrinershospitalsforchildren.org/shc ).
