On Monday, December 6, 2021, Wendy Hermine Schacht of Sterling, VA., beloved daughter of the late Arthur and Lillian Schacht of Roslyn, NY; loving sister of Mark J. Schacht of Chicago, IL and the late Evan Schacht Himelfarb of Great Falls, VA; cherished aunt of Jeffrey, Gregory, and Talia Schacht of Chicago, IL, Aaron Himelfarb of Sterling, VA and Jesse Himelfarb of Dumfries, VA.Graveside funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2021, 1 p.m. at Garden of Remembrance Memorial Park, 14321 Comus Road, Clarksburg, MD 20871. Family will be receiving friends directly after the graveside service on Thursday, December 9, 2021, approximately 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will resume on Friday, December 10, 2021, 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Schacht residence in Sterling, VA. Shiva to be observed Thursday evening. Memorial contributions may be made to Sterling Volunteer Fire Company, the Jewish Federation, Wounded Warriors, or Fisher House.
