On October 20, 2022, Wilbur Lazernik, 91, of Rockville, MD, passed away peacefully at home with his wife by his side, holding his hand.  He is survived by his devoted wife Verna of 65 years, his son Marc, daughters Kim and Wendy, daughter-in-law Maryann, and granddaughter Emily.  A private service was held.

Wilbur approached life with a sense of humor, even as he faced the challenges of his illness.  Despite his condition, he remained courageous and dignified until the end.  We admire his strength, and he will be greatly missed.
