Beloved husband of Joan A. Bush; Devoted father of Jeffrey, Neal (Shari), and Chaya; Loving brother of Eleanor (Francis) Chucker; Cherished grandfather of Jacqueline Bush, Danielle (Benjamin) Fechter, and Ryan Bush.

William L. Bush, Jr was a 3rd generation Washingtonian who spent his entire career in the real estate business in the D.C., Maryland and Virginia area. He and his business partners were real estate pioneers spending decades developing and building residential communities and commercial properties in some of the area's most notable communities. In addition, he was a seasoned veteran of commercial property management and leasing. At one point, he was a partner in a multi-faceted real estate development company headquartered in Bethesda, MD that employed more than 40 people. He was an active member of the Jewish community in Washington, a board member of Washington Hebrew Congregation and led their expansion into the Maryland suburbs in the late 1970's. He was an award-winning amateur photographer, an avid golfer and gardener.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 28th, 2025, at Washington Hebrew Congregation - 3935 Macomb Street, NW Washington, DC 20016 - at 1 p.m.
