On Tuesdsay, February 21, 2012 - William R. Granik of Bethesda, MD. Cherished life partner of Marian Gay; devoted and loving father of Debra Granik and David Granik; brother of Marian Good; adored grandfather of Hannah Granik Scheuer; nephew of Jack and Pola Hayne; cousin of Rick and Rala Mandelson, and Mitch Hayne; dear friend of Bob and Charlene Ring, Suzanne and Harwood Martin, Bob Segal, Brenda Siegal Zusman, beloved friends from Landon Class of 55, Harvard 59, WHC, and many more friends who made his life rich. William's career spanned many years with the Federal Government. His passions included supporting the arts and music in the greater Washington DC area. A memorial service will be held, Today, Thursday - February 24 - 2 PM at Washington Hebrew Congregation 3935 Macomb Street NW, Washington, DC. Interment to follow at Washington Hebrew Congregation Memorial Park. The family will receive friends immediately following the interment at the residence of Suzanne and Harwood Martin.
