IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Yuqian
Chen
September 16, 1939 – April 3, 2020
If you asked me a question, among all the people you know in person who were the most patient people, that would be my father, Yuqian. He always said the kids were always right. He treated his daughter with extreme patience and tolerance. He never criticized his daughter. He reserved a wonderful childhood for his daughter.
If you asked me a question, among all the people you know in person who had most interests and achievements, that would be my father, Yuqian again. The areas he was interested and good at were out of my two hands could be counted.
If you asked me a question, among all the people you know in person who had the most significant impact on you, that would be my father, Yuqian again. He delighted my life and made me feel there was always a person I could trust and rely on.
But he passed away so suddenly and surprisingly. As of now, I don't know how life is going on without him around me. I found so many plans became meaningless without him to be with me. I don't know when I could recover from losing him. Most likely is never.
However, life must be going on. There are people trusted and relied on me now. I must let the spirit I inherited from him continue to influence the people around me. He will be missed by his family, friends and everyone who knew him.
