Deborah Rachel Maytin, Debbie Bauman, Deb, Debbie, Mom, Aunt Bet; she answered to them all. As a daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt and friend, she exemplified how to build a life surrounded with love and respect for all things.
Deb was taken from us on November 1, 2023 after a hard fought battle with pancreatic cancer. Throughout her ordeal, Deb maintained her happy and sweet disposition.
Her memory lives on in the hearts of her family, all of whom she loved dearly and all of whom loved her in return: her father Alvin; her husband of 23 years, Rob; her daughters Hallie and Olivia, brother David and his wife Kelly; brother Daniel and his wife Dawn, brother-in-law Jay and his wife Lauren; and her nieces Sydney, Jordyn and Hilde; her nephews Ethan, Hunter and Michael; her in-laws Ron and Susan Maytin, and countless friends she gathered in her 53 years. Deb was also the devoted daughter of the late Phoebe Bauman. Deb's love for her family and friends was pure and unconditional, and her bright smile brightened any room she entered.
Our last 415 days Deb spent countless hours in treatment at Sibley and Johns Hopkins Hospitals and her final days at the Casey House, a Montgomery Hospice facility. The doctors, nurses and staff made the journey as easy as it could be for Deb.
