Edward S. Alexander “Eddie” passed peacefully surrounded by his family on July 11, 2021 at the age of 91. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business. He earned his CPA and established a well-respected accounting practice in the Washington metro area for over 40 years. He was a Life Master Bridge Player and enjoyed tennis, swimming and especially rooting for his New York Yankees. Always with an optimistic view on life, he believed that “everything happens for a good reason”. Eddie was quick- witted and loved working on math problems. Most importantly, he was an incredibly generous man who loved his family. He is survived by his wife Davida, his children, Todd (Sharon), Mark (Sarah), Shari Walsh, Cheryl Kaufman (Jeremy), Bradley Ehrlich and Alan Ehrlich; grandchildren, Sarah, Taylor, Kylie, Sophie, Rachael, Brett, and Aurora. He was predeceased by his daughter Karyn. A private funeral will be held at graveside. In lieu of flowers please send a donation to the charity of your choice.
